Drei Tage Funk, Soul & Groove
Von 3. bis 5. September 2026 wird das legendäre Conrad Sohm in Dornbirn zum Schauplatz des Flowfield Funk Festivals – und damit auch wieder zum Treffpunkt für Funk, Soul & Groove.
Eine Verbindung, die durchaus Geschichte hat: Bereits in den frühen Jahren des Conrad Sohm spielten Funk, Soul und verwandte Sounds eine wichtige Rolle. Mit Flowfield kehrt dieser Spirit nun für drei Tage zurück – neu interpretiert, international und vor allem live.
Nach der ersten Ausgabe kehrt das Flowfield Funk Festival 2026 mit einem umfangreichen
Programm zurück. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei vor allem eines: Live-Musik. Insgesamt sorgen neun Bands sowie ausgewählte DJs für drei Tage voller Funk, Soul, Jazz, Cumbia und verwandter Spielarten – von treibenden Grooves bis hin zu modernen Interpretationen des Genres.
Mit dabei sind unter anderem High Fade aus Schottland, die mit ihrem explosiven Mix aus Funk, Disco und Rock längst weit über ihre Heimat hinaus für Aufsehen sorgen. Aus Frankreich reisen SAULTS an, während The Next Movement aus der Schweiz mit Funk, Neo-Soul und R&B zeigt, wie viel Sound ein Trio auf die Bühne bringen kann. Weitere musikalische Akzente setzen FATCAT, Westheaven feat. Ebony Winter, RUHMER, The
Freaky Friday Jailhouse Gang sowie FAELA! aus Malmö. Letztere bringen Cumbia, Latin, Jazz, Rock und jede Menge Bläser zusammen und verwandeln ihre Konzerte regelmäßig in eine ausgelassene Fiesta.
Doch das Flowfield Funk Festival versteht sich nicht nur als Konzertfestival. Bereits am Nachmittag öffnet sich das Gelände rund um das Conrad Sohm für Besucher aller Generationen.Familienprogramm, Breakdance, Zirkus, Kinderschminken, Marktstände, Kulinarik und weitere Programmpunkte machen das Festivalgelände zu einem Ort zum Ankommen, Entdecken und Austauschen.
Auch abseits der Bühne spielt Gemeinschaft eine zentrale Rolle. Flowfield ist aus der Idee
entstanden, Menschen über Musik zusammenzubringen und Künstler sowie Musik abseits des klassischen Mainstreams eine Plattform zu bieten.
Das Festival wird mit viel Eigeninitiative und
Unterstützung eines wachsenden Teams und zahlreicher regionaler Partner umgesetzt.
Passend dazu treffen beim Flowfield Funk Festival internationale Acts auf Musiker und DJs aus Österreich und der Bodenseeregion. Nicht Größe oder Bekanntheitsgrad stehen dabei im Vordergrund, sondern musikalische Qualität, Eigenständigkeit und vor allem eines: Groove.
Für Essen und Getränke ist ebenfalls gesorgt. Neben verschiedenen Food-Angeboten ist für alle was dabei: Dieses Jahr serviert die Flowfield Bar ausschließlich alkoholfreie Drinks – von Cocktails über Bier bis Wein. Bereit zum Probieren? Alle anderen Drinks gibt’s wie gewohnt an der Bar des Conrad Sohm.
Mit seiner Lage mitten im Grünen bietet das Conrad Sohm dafür den passenden Rahmen.
Tagsüber spielt sich ein Teil des Geschehens rund um das Gelände ab, während am Abend die legendäre Halle übernimmt – und gleichzeitig dafür sorgt, dass das Festival unabhängig vom Wetter stattfinden kann.

Three Days of Funk ‘n’ Soul!
From 3rd – 5th September 2026, the legendary Conrad Sohm in Dornbirn will be the venue for the Flowfield Funk Festival – and thus once again a meeting place for funk, soul and groove.
It’s a connection steeped in history: even in the early years of the Conrad Sohm, funk, soul and related sounds played a key role. With Flowfield, this spirit is now returning for three days – reimagined, international and, above all, live.
Following its inaugural edition, the Flowfield Funk Festival returns in 2026 with an extensive programme. The focus is on one thing above all else: live music. A total of nine bands and selected DJs will deliver three days packed with funk, soul, jazz, cumbia and related genres – from driving grooves to modern interpretations of the genre.
Among the acts are High Fade from Scotland, who have long been causing a stir far beyond their homeland with their explosive mix of funk, disco and rock. SAULTS are travelling from France, whilst The Next Movement from Switzerland will demonstrate, with funk, neo-soul and R&B, just how much sound a trio can bring to the stage. Further musical highlights will be provided by FATCAT, Westheaven feat. Ebony Winter, RUHMER, The Freaky Friday Jailhouse Gang and FAELA! from Malmö. The latter blend cumbia, Latin, jazz, rock and plenty of brass, regularly turning their concerts into an exuberant fiesta.
However, the Flowfield Funk Festival sees itself as more than just a concert festival. As early as the afternoon, the grounds around the Conrad Sohm open their doors to visitors of all ages. A family programme, breakdancing, circus acts, face painting, market stalls, food and drink, and other activities turn the festival grounds into a place to relax, explore and socialise.
Community also plays a central role away from the stage. Flowfield grew out of the idea
of bringing people together through music and offering a platform to artists and music outside the mainstream.
The festival is organised through a great deal of personal initiative and
with the support of a growing team and numerous regional partners.
In keeping with this spirit, the Flowfield Funk Festival brings together international acts with musicians and DJs from Austria and the Lake Constance region. The focus is not on size or fame, but on musical quality, originality and, above all, one thing: groove.

Anreise / Arrival
Wir freuen uns, wenn ihr möglichst mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln anreist. Solltet ihr mit dem Auto kommen, bitten wir euch, Fahrgemeinschaften zu bilden.
Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es direkt beim Conrad Sohm sowie beim Waldbad Enz (ca. 4 Gehminuten entfernt). Bitte beachtet unbedingt die ausgeschilderten Parkverbots- und Abschleppzonen, da diese als Zufahrten für Einsatzfahrzeuge freigehalten werden müssen. Widerrechtlich abgestellte Fahrzeuge werden umgehend abgeschleppt.

Parking is available directly at the Conrad Sohm and at the Waldbad Enz (approx. a 4-minute walk away). Please be sure to observe the signposted no-parking and towing zones, as these must be kept clear to allow access for emergency vehicles. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed away immediately.

Camping & Natur
Nur 12 Gehminuten vom Conrad Sohm entfernt befindet sich der Campingplatz Enz – idyllisch gelegen und umgeben von schattenspendenden Bäumen. In unmittelbarer Nähe laden das Waldbad Enz, die Rappenlochschlucht sowie zahlreiche Wander- und Radwege zu Ausflügen in die Natur ein. Mit der Karrenseilbahn erreicht ihr den Dornbirner Hausberg und genießt einen beeindruckenden Ausblick über das Rheintal bis zum Bodensee.
Just a 12-minute walk from the Conrad Sohm is the Enz campsite – idyllically situated and surrounded by shady trees. Close by, the Enz Forest Baths, the Rappenloch Gorge and numerous walking and cycling trails invite you to explore the great outdoors. Take the Karren cable car up to Dornbirn’s local mountain and enjoy a breathtaking view over the Rhine Valley as far as Lake Constance.

Unsere Flowfield Bar steht dieses Jahr ganz im Zeichen des bewussten Genusses. Ob erfrischende Cocktails, Bier oder Wein – bei uns gibt es all das alkoholfrei, aber mit vollem Geschmack.
Keine Sorge: Wer klassische Getränke bevorzugt, wird selbstverständlich auch an der Conrad Sohm Bar mit alkoholischen Getränken bestens versorgt.
